The Houston Clemson Club is an extension of the Clemson Alumni Association and serves the Houston, Texas area. Through networking events, viewing parties and volunteer opportunities, the club provides alumni living in the area a lifelong connection to Clemson and fellow alumni living in the Houston community.
The history of the Houston Clemson Club dates back to the 1950s when Clemson fans in Houston would gather around the telephone to listen to a broadcast of the game. Members would call family members in South Carolina so they could hear the games live. Since then the club has grown as the number of living alumni & fans in the greater Houston area is now well over 1,000.
We meet frequently to watch our Tigers play, as well as support the University in its aim to become a Top 25- Public University. Please join us in making the Tiger’s roar echo!
