The Lexington County Clemson Club awards scholarships to assist graduating high school
seniors with their expenses to Clemson University. This scholarship is awarded for the
freshman year. The recipient can be eligible for additional funds for each of the following three years making this a four-year commitment by the Lexington County Clemson Club.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

•  Currently reside in Lexington County. You must be a resident of Lexington County to
  apply.
• Have been accepted to Clemson University and plan to attend the upcoming fall
  semester. Students accepted in the Bridge Program are not eligible.
• The application must be completed in full and submitted by the designated deadline
  date.

Scholarship Application
The application deadline is March 31, 2024. Once you start the application, it will need to be
completed fully. To complete this application, you will need certain information available. We
encourage you to review the entire application before starting the process.
Some information you will need.

• A copy of your transcript through the first semester of your senior year.
• SAT and/or ACT scores.
• GPA and class rank.
• A list of all your honors and accomplishments within school and/or community. (i.e.,
  sports, clubs, activities, etc.)
• A list of any employment.
• A 150-word or less essay explaining your need for this scholarship.
• We want to get to know you better. Include a reference letter from a person in your
  community that is not connected to your school or school activities.
