The Golden Isles Clemson Club is a group of alumni, parents, and friends that all share a passion for Clemson University. We meet frequently to watch our Tigers play, as well as support the University in its aim to become a Top-25 Public University. Please join us is making the Tiger’s roar echo!

 

Club History

The Golden Isles Clemson Club began with an Exploratory Meeting on August 7, 2017, held at Marshside Grill in Brunswick. attendees included local Clemson graduates and supporters. The meeting had been initiated by local St Simons Island resident, Skip Harvey, through contact with Bubba Britton, the Clemson Alumni Association Liaison. The Club was approved by the Clemson Alumni Association Board of Directors in January, 2018. It was the 78th officially chartered affiliate group in the Clemson organization, and became a part of the newly established District Delta. A new Charter and By-Laws became effective in July, 2018. Our geographic area includes:

• Saint Simons Island
• Brunswick
• Sea Island
• Little Saint Simons Island
• Jekyll Island

From interest expressed by individual volunteers, the founding officers and Board of Directors was created, as follows:
