{"id":214,"date":"2022-06-27T17:14:31","date_gmt":"2022-06-27T21:14:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clemsonalumni1.wpengine.com\/lgbtq\/?p=214"},"modified":"2022-06-27T17:14:31","modified_gmt":"2022-06-27T21:14:31","slug":"zooming-together-into-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clemson.alumniclubs.us\/lgbtq\/blog\/zooming-together-into-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Zooming Together into the Future"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>COVID-19 social restrictions have moved us into a \u201cnew normal\u201d of virtual reality where meetings and gatherings via Zoom and other platforms have become commonplace and even essential.<\/p>\n<p>Organizations with a national following such as the Clemson LGBTQ+ Alumni Council with members widely dispersed geographically are leveraging these platforms more than ever to share information or to just hang out with one another.<\/p>\n<p>To that end, we are offering two Happy Hours and a Town Hall meeting over the coming months. The Town Hall meeting will be an opportunity for members to share with Board members their ideas and vision for the future of the Council. And, of course, Happy Hour is a fun time to get together, relax and share some laughter.
