Many of you have attended Fort Hill Clemson Club’s Recruiting Wrap Up over the past 17 years. Your support has helped raise over $1 million for our Scholarship Endowment Fund which provides need based scholarships for local students in our area to attend Clemson University.
Regrettably, the football staff recently notified us that due to challenges with the new landscape of college football, notably that January has become a much busier time than in previous years, they will be unable to partner with FHCC to host the Recruiting Wrap Up. We are very grateful to Coach Swinney and the football staff for the time and effort they have provided over these many years to collaborate with the club in order to make a difference in our community.
While the FHCC Board and members will miss hosting this event, we are working on pivoting to a different fundraiser in order to continue providing scholarships for these deserving students. We still plan to present our online auction, which is undoubtedly one of the best auctions for offering Clemson memorabilia, coach & team in-person experiences and terrific donations from area businesses. Be on the lookout for future correspondence once details have been confirmed.
