Now Accepting Nominations for Club Officers

We are now taking nominations for FIVE officer positions in the Clemson Club. Each of these officer roles will run from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020. If you are interested in running for one of these five officer positions, please submit your name, the position you’re interested in and an optional paragraph about why you think you’re the best candidate for that role by Wednesday, May 16, 2018 to [email protected].

The officer positions include:

PRESIDENT – The president manages overall operations of the club while providing strategic leadership to help the club continue to grow and achieve its mission and vision. The president is responsible for overseeing communications to club members through the club’s website, email and Facebook pages. The president should serve on at least two volunteer committees.

 VICE PRESIDENT – The vice president is responsible for assisting the president in overall management of the club. In the event the president is unable to fulfill their two-year term on a temporary or permanent basis, the vice president agrees to take on the president’s duties.  The vice president should serve on at least two volunteer committees.

 SECRETARY/TREASURER – The secretary/treasurer is responsible for taking notes during officer meetings and assisting the president in managing the club’s finances. The secretary/treasurer will be a co-signer on the club’s bank account and will assist in compiling information needed for official filings. The secretary/treasurer should serve on at least two volunteer committees.

 THE VILLAGES CHAPTER REPRESENTATIVE – The Villages Chapter Representative should be a leader in The Villages Chapter and will represent the best interest of The Villages Chapter during leadership decisions. The Villages Chapter Representative will lead The Villages Volunteer Planning Committee.

 DAYTONA CHAPTER REPRESENTATIVE – The Daytona Representative should be a leader in the Daytona Chapter and will represent the best interest of the Daytona Chapter during leadership decisions. The Daytona Chapter Representative will lead the Daytona Volunteer Planning Committee.
