2018 Clemson Black Alumni Reunion

April 13 – 14, 2018

We are excited to have you back on campus for our 2018 Black Alumni Reunion! The Reunion Planning Committee has been working hard over the last few months to plan this event. We have some fun and engaging activities in store for you. Below is the schedule for the weekend, and some other important information.

Schedule of Activities:

Friday, April 13th
7:00pm – Reception*
8:30pm – Private Musical Concert* 
Guests are welcome to attend the reception and concert at an additional cost of $30 / guest. Childcare will be provided at an additional cost. Denote the number and ages of children when registering and we will follow up with you. If you would like to register additional guests, you will be prompted to do so at Check-Out.

Saturday, April 14th
8:00am – 9:00am Check-In & Breakfast**
9:00am – 12:30pm Information & Networking Session**
This session will include an update on the state of diversity and inclusion at Clemson University, a student panel, a Q&A with university administrators and table discussions with fellow alumni.

12:30pm – 2:00pm: Black Alumni Luncheon**

2:00pm Depart for Clemson Football Spring Game Festivities

7:00pm – 9:00pm Reception with Student Organizations
This event will give alumni an opportunity to connect with current students who are members of several multicultural student organizations.
Guests and children are welcome to attend at an additional cost. Children 12 and under attend free. Adult guests and children 13 and over will be $15 per guest/child. If you would like to register additional guests, you will be prompted to do so at Check-Out.

Locations for the various events will be provided in your confirmation email.

Registration Fee: $85
Your registration fee includes access to all Black Alumni Reunion activities and a t-shirt. Please note that Spring Game festivities are not a part of the Black Alumni Reunion activities. If you would like to purchase additional t-shirts, you will be prompted to do so at Check-Out.

Lodging:
Lodging for the Black Alumni Reunion will be provided by the Best Western / University In located at 1310 Tiger Boulevard in Clemson. Call 864-986-6200 to reserve your room now. Since this is the weekend of the Spring Game, there are a limited number of rooms being held – so book your rooms ASAP! The room rates are $139 plus tax for double queen / traditional king rooms and $139 plus tax for deluxe king rooms. Mention “Clemson Black Alumni Reunion” when you make your reservations to receive this rate.

Message Regarding Clemson University Men of Color Summit:
Clemson University is offering a special rate for the Men of Color Summit for all alumni who register for the 2018 Black Alumni Reunion. The regular rate is $179, but the fee for Black Alumni Reunion registrants is only $99! After you register for the Black Alumni Reunion, you will receive instructions to register for the Men of Color Summit at the discounted rate in your confirmation email.
